For more than 35 years, Toys for Kids has brought joy and hope to local families facing the challenges of childhood illness. Working closely with Mary Bridge Children's social workers, the program identifies families of chronically ill children who could use extra support during the holiday season. Toys for Kids helps ease financial stress by providing gifts for patients and their siblings, ensuring they can experience the magic of the holidays.
Founded in 1991, Toys for Kids is supported through a partnership with DeMolay Tacoma and made possible by the generosity of community members, businesses, and dedicated supporters. 100% of funds raised go directly toward purchasing gifts specifically selected for each child.
Since its inception, Toys for Kids has served 2,083 families and 5,304 children.
Together, we can help make the holiday season brighter for families throughout our community.
