(Tacoma, WA)  IT’S SNOWING IN THE TACOMA DOME!  It’s a Winter Wonderland in October as the snow falls over a 45 foot hanging Christmas tree at noon and 2pm each day of the 33rd Annual Tacoma Holiday Food & Gift Festival for four magical days – Thursday, October 22nd thru Sunday, October 25th at the Tacoma Dome. With over 550 exhibits in two buildings, it is one of the largest holiday gift shows on the West Coast. Shop for holiday gifts of handmade arts & crafts, seasonal decorations and gourmet foods. It’s a perfect way to get ready for the holidays and a great day of fun for everyone!

New this year:  Food Trucks for Foodies!  To add flavor to the show, there will be a variety of food selections not only in the “Food Court” but from popular food trucks brought in for the show including:  Arnold’s Happy Days Gourmet Hamburgers, Vietnam nom nom Banh Mi Sandwiches, Chick’n Fix Gourmet Chicken, Budha Bear Bagles and Gibson’s Frozen Yogurt.

Santa! An all new Santa area will feature a special holiday display, a real bearded Santa and a variety of photo opportunities for you and your family to choose from.

New Exhibits!  Over 250 all new exhibits and displays to shop with unique one-of-a-kind gifts and specialty foods.

Cooking for the Holidays!  New and updated cooking demonstrations for the holidays with the finest professional chefs from noted restaurants and culinary schools.  Learn their secret recipes as they share ways to prepare that special holiday feast (see schedule attached).  The program is hosted by Tacoma Foodie Amanda Westbrooke from City Line on TV Tacoma.  Cooking for the Holidays is sponsored by Renewal Remodels & Additions and Bates Technical College.

Enjoy new Family Entertainment!  See a wonderful variety of family entertainment scheduled daily throughout the show, including: West Coast Country Heat, The Susan Burke Celtic Trio, the Sonoro Women’s Choir, the Morgan Family Y, Rainier Ringers, NW Associated Arts – Kids, Youth & Teens, Windsong Classical Trio and Dance Theatre Northwest.

Artists in Action! Watch artists demonstrate their skills in pottery, leather art, mosaic art, glass, wood working, painting and more.

Gourmet Foods!  Sample and buy specialty holiday foods such as ciders, scone mixes, bundt cakes, caramels, specialty teas, chocolates, gourmet cooking sauces, pie fillings and so much more.
